GTN 206 Weekend in Review

Tiger Woods wins the Buick Open by 3 strokes, this is the 3rd Buick Open he has won, his 4th title this year, and his 69th PGA Title overall, speculation about his knee can probably be put to rest now, because he played some of the best golf he has ever played this weekend.

The Texas Rangers beat the Mariners 4-2 yesterday and take 3 out of 4 from the M’s  this weekend…..the Mariners fall to (54-51)….good news though Adrian Beltre is on his way back and we go to play the lowly Kansas City Royals for a 3 game set on Tuesday….but didn’t we say the Indians were lowly when they came in here and swept us several days ago???…….Seattle needs a sweep!!

Micheal Phelps earned his 5th gold medal yesterday at The World’s Championships, he set 2 individual records and contributed in 2 team relay world records, overall 43 records were broke and set this weekend in the World’s…..could it be these new high-tech swim suits some of the swimmers are wearing….oh by the way Phelps didn’t wear any of the new high-tech gear!!

The Seattle Sounders lose to the San Jose Earthquakes 4-0, the Sounders fall to (7-8-4) on the season….not bad they are still in second place in the Western Conference in points (29)…….well at least they didn’t tie again!!
