NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND SCHEDULE

9 p.m.: Rookies vs. Sophomores Challenge

Rookies roster: DeJuan Blair, San Antonio; Omri Casspi, Sacramento; Stephen Curry, Golden State; Tyreke Evans, Sacramento; Jonny Flynn, Minnesota; Taj Gibson, Chicago; James Harden, Oklahoma City; Brandon Jennings, Milwaukee; Jonas Jerebko, Detroit.

Sophomores roster: Michael Beasley, Miami; Danilo Gallinari, New York; Marc Gasol, Memphis; Eric Gordon, LA Clippers; Brook Lopez, New Jersey; Kevin Love, Minnesota; O.J. Mayo, Memphis; Derrick Rose, Chicago; Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City.

10 p.m. (approx.): All-Star Slam Dunk-In

DeMar DeRozan, Toronto, and Eric Gordon, LA Clippers. Winner advances to Slam-Dunk Contest.

SATURDAY

7 p.m.: H.O.R.S.E. competition

Participants: Omri Casspi, Sacramento; Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City; Rajon Rondo, Boston.

8:30-11 p.m.: Shooting Stars (four teams composed of current NBA players, WNBA players and former NBA players competing in a timed one-round shooting event featuring six shooting locations of increasing difficulty).

Team Los Angeles: Brent Barry, Pau Gasol, Marie Ferdinand-Harris.

Team Texas: Kenny Smith, Dirk Nowitzki, Becky Hammon.

Team Atlanta: Steve Smith, Joe Johnson, Angel McCoughtry.

Team Sacramento: Chris Webber, Tyreke Evans, Nicole Powell.

Skills Challenge (four players run through a timed obstacle course that includes dribbling, passing and shooting stations). Participants: Brandon Jennings, Milwaukee; Steve Nash, Phoenix; Derrick Rose, Chicago; Deron Williams, Utah.

Three-Point Contest. Participants: Chauncey Billips, Denver; Daequan Cook, Miami; Stephen Curry, Golden State; Channing Frye, Phoenix; Danilo Gallinari, New York; Paul Pierce, Boston.

Slam-Dunk Contest. Participants: Shannon Brown, LA Lakers; Nate Robinson, New York; Gerald Wallace, Charlotte; and Dunk-in winner.

SUNDAY

8:30 p.m.: All-Star Game, Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas. Sixers guard Allen Iverson was voted as a starter for the East but he will not play due to personal reasons. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will not play due to an ankle injury.
