The Seattle Seahawks Friday fired Jim Mora as Head Coach, his 5-11 record just didn’ cut it……..Pete Carroll has reportedly been hired signed sealed and delivered (for $35 million over 5 years) not only will Carroll be Head Coach he will be President of Football Operations for the Seahawks……personally I would have liked to see Bill Cowher brought in to coach the Hawks, I think it would have been a perfect fit, it would have brought a new style and a new look for the Hawks…..I’m wondering if Cowher would like to come on as Defensive Coordinator….can you imagine how teams would have to game plan for an attack like that ……let’s look at Pete Carroll, very successful at USC…..quarterbacks flourish at USC….running backs flourish at USC…..wide receviers…..and defensive players all have flourished at USC…..look at the talent from USC in the NFL…we could become a very attractive organization for former USC players who are currently playing pro-ball……(except for Matt Leinart….we don’t want him)…so Hawk’ fans we are officially in a rebuilding phase, they are definitely going to give Carroll more than one season to turn this thing around, but that probably means more losing in our (near) future……but ya never know…football is a funny game
