Another Coach bites the dust

Bits & Bites

Serena Williams fined $82,000 and given 2 years probation…..she should appeal that, it is way too excessive!!

Charlie Weiss dead man walking??….actually Charlie is not in a bad position, Notre Dame will still have to pay him $18 million….he already has job offers….If I were Charlie I wouldn’t sweat it…..but Notre Dame has to be considered the worst job in College Coaching….only a fool would take that job

Slick Rick down in UCLA has his team quietly bowl eligible….. the Bruins finished (6-6/ 3-6)….that Pete Carroll decision to throw a 48 yard bomb after kneeling down was clever….that’s how rivalry games are supposed to go…you want to beat your rival & beat em’ bad….and embarass em’

The Titans 5 wins in a row…if they beat the Colts next week……then look out, nobody will want to play them in the playoffs…..shout out to Vince Young!!

Marvin Lewis  looks like a genius for picking up Larry Johnson….the Bengals went 6-0 in the AFC Central…they own all tie breaker’s ……I wonder how TJ really feels

The Bills scored 31 points….get ready for some T.O. sound bites

The Nets 0-17……..man they stink

Florida/ Alabama Saturday….BCS Bowl Championship Part 1???…it’s possible that these two could meet in a re-match…..Florida is so far ahead of Texas in BCS points, that if they loose a close game to Alabama they could slip to #2

I would love to see TCU take on anybody in the Top 6….the Fiesta Bowl and the Sugar Bowl were at their  game Saturday

Washington Husky Men B-Ball is #10 in the country

Husky Women Volleyball is the #6 seed in the NCAA Tournament

Hawks & Huskies Win

The Seahawks have won 10 consecutive games over the Rams. … The Seahawks played their third consecutive road game and snapped a two-game losing streak. This was the first road win for Seattle, which was previously 0-5 on the road in 2009. … St. Louis has lost 11 consecutive home games……Final Score 27-17 Seattle

Justin Forsett 22 rushes for 130 yards 2 td

Hasselbeck 14/25 for 102

The Washington Huskies bring home the Apple Cup Saturday by beating the Cougars 30-0…….The Huskies did that by outgaining the Cougars 461-163, including 265-47 on the ground — that’s the most rushing yards of the Sarkisian era. WSU never got past UW’s 33-yard-line and had only three first downs in the second half……The Huskies also got all the offense they needed from quarterback Jake Locker and tailback Chris Polk. Locker threw for one TD and ran for another, part of a season-high 94 yards rushing overall. Polk, meanwhile, rushed for 130 yards and had one TD.

…….–Locker now ranks second in both season-passing yards (2,552) and career passing yards (5,126) in UW history
