Ricky Rubio has reportedly signed a 6 deal with FC Barcelona…(basketball team)….the Minnesota T-Wolves were trying to put together a buy-out package with his old team DRV Joventut, but talks broke down and terms could not be met….Rubio can opt out of his FC Barcelona deal in 2011.
Venus Williams survived a close call yesterday at the U.S. Open….she fought off 47th ranked Vera Dushevina of Russia 6-7,(5),7-5,6-3…..Venus is now 44-3 all time in first round openers in Grand Slam events….she is currently 10-0 in the first round a the U.S. Open.
Brett Favre looked good last night going 13/18 for 142 yds. and 1 td………Adrian Peterson runs for 107 yds. on 11 carrries…….Vikings win 17-10…..they go to 3-0 on the preseason….reports surfaced during the game that Brett Favre might have a cracked rib…..JB & KB will have the latest info, Tuesday on Gametime!!
